Disney Memorial Shootout
The U-9 Girls soccer team took home the Gold Medal at The Disney Memorial Shootout this past weekend.  This puts the final touch on a season in which the girls won 6 out of 7 tournaments they entered and finished second in the other.  Overall the U-9 girls only lost 2 games all year.

Coach Bri and Stephanie really rallied the girls to bring there "A" game to the semi finals and final game.  They won their three division games, 3-2, 6-2 and 7-2.  They beat Braden in the Semi finals 7-1 and won the final game against Boynton 3-0 in perhaps their best team performance of the season.

Thank you Bri and Stephanie for a truly remarkable season.  Special thanks to all the Wellington Wave coaches and staff that struggled through the heat and the odor of the field to watch the final game.

Demosphere Registration
A number of people are worried that they forgot their password into Demosphere for registration. This is not a problem. When at the login screen in Demosphere, required information is last name, birth date, mother's maiden name, and home phone with area code.

State Cup Championship
CONGRATULATIONS to Coach Patrick and Coach Arrue and of course the U17 Boys as they won the State Cup Championship in the U17 Boys Division. This is their third consecutive State Cup Championship. Patrick and the U17 Boys will now be playing in the Southern Regionals being held in Dallas Texas in early June.

GREAT JOB once again!!!!

YOU GUYS ROCK!!! THREE-PEAT!!!  GOOD LUCK AT REGIONALS---GO WAVE!!

Championship game
Wellington White - 5  /  Melbourne Beach Tsunami - 2
Wellington White - 4 /  Three Lions - 1
Wellington White - 2 / FSA Alliance Blue - 2

Wellington White advances to Championship against West Pines based on goal differential.

Championship game -  Wellington White - 8 / West Pines Black - 2

West Pines started off the scoring taking a 1 - 0 lead in the first period after a hard shot which was deflected by the Wellington Goalkeeper was put in by a hard charging West Pines Player .  Wellington then responded with 5 unanswered goals, one of which was taken away by the referee after complaints by the West Pines Coach which got him and a parent ejected from the game.  Wellington went into the half with a 4 - 1 advantage that they would not relinquish.  West Pines started the scoring in the second half after a ball that was kicked out of the hands of the Wellington Keeper was put back in play and then into the back of the net.  Wellington once again responded with 4 more unanswered goals ending the game with an 8 - 2 victory and the Championship.
